About Us

White Suffolks

Laurel View White Suffolks was founded in 2003 with the purchase of Detpa Grove and Merriwa ewes and Allendale 040192 (by Depta Grove “Fair Dinkum”)
Since then we have travelled across much of Australia sourcing the best genetics including:

• Our main stud sire Aylesbury Farm 040040, purchased at the Adelaide Elite sale in 2005 for $6000.
• In 2007 we purchased Waratah 060809 (by Waratah 050657) for the South West sale top price of $2300.
• September 2008 saw another addition to our White Suffolk Sire team with the purchase of Burwood 074667 (by Woolumbool Crikey).
• And our most recent of purchases, in March ’09 is Wingamin 053226. This is an absolute monster of a ram, with incredible length and hindquarters, and we are hoping he breeds as well for us as he has done for Wingamin.

Ewes have been added from Detpa Grove, Lauridale, Whitemore House dispersal, and Wingamin

Suffolks

Laurel View Suffolks was founded in 2008 with the purchase of Stud Ewes from Burwood Suffolk Stud, and also 2 rams, being:

• Burwood 071422 – top priced On Property sale ram @ $2200
• Burwood 071448.

 

Health Status

All our sheep carry Ovine Brucellosis Accreditation, Ovine Johnes MN3-V(10pts), and we are members of Lambplan with lambs weighed at birth, 6mths, 12mths, and scanned at 6mths. We also do individual WEC(worm testing) on all lambs at 12 mths.
